Why are some days or even some weeks better or worse?
This past week I have noticed a big change in my sats. I didn’t have to check it, I could feel the fatigue and strength leave.
My portable Inogen 3 or 4 which is usually set 2 lpm when relaxing and 3 when up and about. They’re not keeping up to my needs, but just last week I was walking about the house without any O2 for short periods and still felt good.
Yesterday I walked to the mailbox and back. About 100 feet total. I could feel the difference and when I checked it CRAP !! 80%
I panicked and reached for my trusty VA supplied liquid O2 and filled my portable unit. Instant relief.
The Pollen count in central Florida was up up up. Could that be the cause. I even canceled my Pulmanary rehab session because I had so much anxiety.
This May 1st (Yes, that’s a May Day call) I will be smoke free 4 years.
I know my PFT results changed in 5 years and that hit me hard. I didn’t leave the house for months.
My Son and family live 1200 miles away so lately I have decided to buy a motor home and stay for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. AND now I’m scared. I’ve always been able to drive long hours without any concerns.
I have a grandson who is six years old and I’d like him to know all about his grandpa. I want to take him for ice cream and watch him ride his 4 wheeler.
I’m sitting here in the chair and my sats are. WAIT for it. ....... 98% @ 2 LPM lox. (Liquid oxygen) no exertion.
I’m I seeing the onset of a flare up? What can you tell me about what is going on. If you don’t have any encouraging words then do the kind thing and LIE to me.
