Approval now 8 months old. I have seen nothing that indicated during the recent enrollment period that had any of the insurance companies advertising or even suggesting they would pay. Likewise no jump for vast numbers of hospitals to provide nor surgeons in any great numbers clambering to be trained on the process. Spent years in the food safety business. FDA not my favorite folks but they did approve. Has anybody out there seen any movement towards more providers and payers? Still playing stepchild to less deadly diseases with medicare and private insurance- solely my opinion.
I have started a campaign within VA since 18 percent of vets have some type of lung disease but i can assure you i will win a 45 year-old agent orange case before they move an inch. Great care at times but other could be lot better. Too many vets, too many wars and not enough time, money and people.
