I had an X-ray in September that showed "hyper-inflated" lungs. I was having breathing issues suddenly but suspected reflux/LPR as a cause. I had an CT Angio Chest and they said my airways were open. Then I had Pulmonary Function Testing with normal results. Now I had a CT Coronary Study with great results on my arteries but the ancillary findings said that I had "hypo attenuation" throughout the lung parenchyma. I assume that is not good since that comment was a that I have "large and small airways disease." A side note - there is some mucous plugging in my right middle lobe but I have been told in the past this is old damage from breast cancer radiation decades ago. It's the hypo attenuation that is new.
