When up to the dog park today with Mr. Milo I got a bit SOB and was gasping for air. Did the pursed lips method and started coming back. What got me the most was there was a girl there that came over to me and asked if I was alright, at the time I couldn't speak and her friend a ways away yelled: is he ok and she yelled back: yea, he's one of those sick people but he's ok. As I got my breath back I explained what was happening to her. She said yea, I told my friend you were sick. I don't know, I don't really like the word sick, to me that means all shrivelled up and looking like a cyco or something. Maybe throwing up or passing out too. I would rather hear that we have a disorder rather than we are sick. If that's the way people label us I probably will get depressed. Do any of you guys like the term we are sick people or people with COPD are sick people?
