Hey everyone!
My mom will be sent home with a trilogy machine this week and I have a couple questions. Is there a respiratory therapist that can come in the home and show me how to use it? I live 2 1/2 hours away and I have severe neuropathy and I have difficulty traveling. The social worker told me that I have to go up there overnight to be taught how to use it, but its financially and physically difficult for me to make that trip. I would have to have someone drive me there, and then come back to get me the next day. That would cost a lot of money for gas, etc.
Once the machine is home, will I have to program it each time she uses it? She was prescribed it for sleeping because her co2 rises during sleep. Or will the machine be automatically set for the correct settings each time it is turned on?
Thanks in advance!
