I recently had a rather bad experience and wondered if this has happened to anyone else. I'm not quite sure if I should lodge a complaint.
I was shopping for an outfit at a very well known retailer. This store has 2 locked rooms available, you have to have an attendant open the room for you. One of the rooms has a disability sign and the attendant opened that room for me, I assumed because I had my oxygen tank in the cart and tubing in my nose. She would not let me take the cart into the very large room designed to accommodate wheel chairs. She said it was a safety hazard. I did not try on the clothes, which were for a funeral the next day. I can't believe that this is a store policy. Other stores have not stopped me.
