Maybe you have some insight. Someone I know, that has COPD, started a new oxygen device at night. She saw her doctor a few times to review the start-up of this device.

Her concern is that during the day her o2 saturation is 91 to 95. But at night she sees it go as low as the mid-70's. She does not know why at night it goes so low. I have noticed she seems a bit breathless when we get together to simply talk. She says she is tired of being tired.

The doctor indicated there is nothing she can do, but did recommend exercise, and that sounds like pulmonary rehab.

I don't have more detail, but does this sound like a normal progression for COPD? Are there any specific questions she might ask the doctor?
