Was diagnosed a few days ago ….they didn’t mention my numbers nor have I saw the report yet…took test 2 weeks ago on a Monday..was very anxious for results so another Dr.from the group read the report on a Friday and said numbers look good…then on Monday The nurse calls and tells me numbers are excellent except for one..which showed I quote “Vert Very Mild COPD…she mentioned even insignificant…told her I want to speak to the Dr.he was very aloof and mentioned something about environmental….He told me to see him in 2 weeks to go over the numbers….The reason why I’m a little confused is I currently go on the treadmill 5-6 days a week …three days I walk at 3.5 mph at a 2° incline for 30 to 40 minutes no problem no shortness of breath… The other three days I walk at 3 mph at a 6° incline for 30-40 mins …little bit harder but still no shortness of breath …recoup fairly quick after doing a 30 to 40 minute workout …these are all done without having to hold onto the treadmill
Currently, I am about 50 pounds overweight but have lost 60 pounds over the last two years from diet and exercise… Was smoking for 25+ years… Quit smoking two months ago… I am 57 years old
I am also very anxious to the point where I’m panicked all day and can’t sleep at night. I had my blood work done …my CO2 levels were fine and my oxygen saturation was 98 to 100 while I was at the hospital from being panicked..
I guess what I’m looking for here is a little reassurance and some positivity until I see the doctor
