Hello Everyone,

I waited over a year to get another PFT. During this time I learned a lot from reading the educational information on this website and monitoring the questions and answers. I also, learned a few thing when I showed up for my test:

1. I have a new pulmonologist. This was ok because she gave me more time and answered my questions.

2. They have an new machine and software.

3. It was spirometry only not a full PFT.

4. They changed protocol - I was given albuterol first thing before the test. I was told this is a new protocol to save time and this is “ok” because of the onset of action (5-15 min).

Questions:

1) Are my results accurate or skewed by using the rescue inhaler before the spirometry test?

2) Can someone please review and comment on my results?

3) Can the 25/75 scores very this much from test to test?

Old 2022 PFT:

FVC: 96, FEV1: 87, 25/75: 59 FEV1/FVC: 73, RV: 137, RV/TLC: 44 (Actual) 126% Predicted
