Well I went to see my doctor he was surprisingly no plussed by what he saw on my medical reports. I take back what I said about him before in another post. And feel bad about that.
He took the time to explain what COPD is - and the effects it can have. He told me he has doubts I have EM ... and suspects it is part of the changes to my lungs for all the years of abuse i did to my body with smoking for as long as I did.
He did an oxygen test and it came back at 99% and then another test where I had to blow into a tube, he said it was strong enough not to give concern right now.
Then we went through lifestyle which basicially is my hands. Never to start smoking again, quit the vaping, loose some weight and work out. Walking etc ... he did say COPD is progressive but how fast it progresses is in many ways down to me.
I have some further tests later in January which will give a definitive diagnose if i have Emphasima or not .... he "suspects" if I did it would be mild at this time. Only thing we need to look at is my meds for anxiety which he may change come mid Jan.
I am feeling somewhat more level now after the initial shock but its a major wake up call to not only change my life style but to value the life (WE ALL ) have ...
I cant thank enough the people here who have given really good advise and support. Knowledge on this COPD im starting to see is everything. Sites like this are vital for that.
I hope everyone has a peacful and safe new year - thank you for being here.
