Hi folks its been awhile as I have been intensely busy selling/packing up my home in California while also having construction going on with my new home out of state in Hawaii, which has been extremely challenging logistically.
With my spouses eminent retirement I will be losing my Blue Cross Health insurance and will be dependent upon Medicare for my health care needs. Considering the significant cost of inhaler therapies for our conditions I would deeply appreciate any advice and experiences our community has had with the "Plan D" prescription portion of Medicare in assistance of prescription costs. Presently I am using Albuterol rescue and Spiriva. I anticipate a medication change due to the high cost of Spiriva. What medications are you taking and what is your cost share with Medicare. I am very curious as to what effective medications you are finding that are met with the least resistance from Medicare Plan D. Plan provider names will be helpful as well. Gratefully yours, Brent
