My best friend has just been diagnosed with stage 1 copd at the age of 43. He has never smoked, we think the cause is secondary smoke growing up and always being around smokers in adulthood. He also has sleep apnea and stops breathing (he has a cpap machine but cant handle using it😔) He needs to lose weight. He has low potassium, high blood pressure. Has bouts of pneumonia. Hes seen sooo many drs b4 being diagnosed. Hes kind of tired of getting the wrong info from proffessionals

Is there any advice on what to do at this stage of copd that will help? would you have done anything differently at the early stages- knowing what you know now? Thankyou! concerned friend Deb x
