Our videos are designed to provide education and awareness for people affected by Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). These include patients, their families, and caregivers. The videos also serve as an exceptional resource for healthcare professionals to convey education.

Introduction to Inhalers
This is the place to start. Learn basic information about the three common types of inhalers: Pressurized Metered-Dose Inhalers (MDIs), Dry-Powder Inhalers (DPIs), and Soft-mist Inhalers (SMI). This video provides general instructions and tips for use.
Diskus® Inhaler
This is a multi-dose DPI and it delivers the medications: Advair (purple), Serevent (green) or Flovent (orange).
Ellipta® Inhaler
This is a multi-dose DPI and it delivers the medications: Anoro (red cap), Arnuity (orange cap), Breo (blue cap), Incruse (green cap), and Trelegy (beige cap).
Flexhaler® Inhaler
This is a multi-dose DPI and it delivers the medication, Pulmicort.
HandiHaler® Inhaler
This is a single-dose DPI and it delivers the medication, Spiriva. Watch the video for a demonstration and detailed steps on the proper usage of the HandiHaler.
MDI with Closed-Mouth Technique
This is a pressurized MDI and it delivers the medications: Albuterol, Advair, Alvesco, Atrovent, Breztri Aerosphere, Combivent, Dulera, Flovent, ProAir, Proventil, QVAR, Symbicort, Ventolin, and Xopenex.
MDI with Spacer Technique
This is a pressurized MDI used with a valve holding chamber to increase the amount of medication delivered to the lungs and it delivers the medications: Albuterol, Advair, Alvesco, Atrovent, Breztri Aerosphere, Combivent, Dulera, Flovent, ProAir, Proventil, Symbicort, Ventolin, and Xopenex.
Neohaler® Inhaler
This is a single-dose DPI and it delivers the medications: Arcapta (pink pinchers), Seebri (orange pinchers) and Utibron (yellow pinchers). Please note that effective April 1, 2020, these are no longer available in the United States.
Pressair® Inhaler
This is a multi-dose inhaler and it delivers the medication, Tudorza.
Redihaler Technique
A special type of metered-dose inhaler that is inhaled directly into the mouth without the use of a spacer. This device is breath actuated, so does not require coordination between puffing and inhaling. This is a pressurized MDI and delivers the medication QVAR.
RespiClick® Inhaler
This is a multi-dose DPI and it delivers the medication Albuterol. Special Note: This device looks like a typical MDI, but it is a DPI and therefore should not be used with a spacer.
Respimat® Inhaler
This is a pressurized soft mist MDI and it delivers the medications: Combivent (orange cap), Spiriva (Aqua cap for COPD and Blue cap for Asthma), Stiolto (green cap) and Striverdi (yellow cap).
Twisthaler® Inhaler
This is a multi-dose DPI and it delivers the medication, Asmanex.
Wixela™ Inhaler
This is a multi-dose DPI that delivers the medication Wixela.
