Hi, i hope you are all as well as can be.
I'm writing on behalf of my husband, he is 42 years young and has been diagnosed for around 6 years (i think it is)
He was stage 3 roughly a year ago when he last saw his specialist, he has had a fair few flare ups but he caught covid roughly 5 weeks ago and hasn't been right ever since? He has seen a doctor who said there's no sign of infection on his lungs buy gave him steroids as he was struggling. His breathing has improved abit but he does have cough syncope, sleep apnea and emphysema COPD... he can not sleep any more than 2 hours at a time, we have no idea why this is? And he has to get on all fours and rest his head on the sofa to help him breathe? He still currently smokes i have begged him to stop several times but I can't force him. I'm getting really worried as he never has any energy, doesn't leave the house, can barely walk from the frontroom to the kitchen without being out of breath. Any advise if you have this your self or your loved ones would be really appreciated. Thank you x
