I look back at my first posts and laugh.
A 43 year old scrambling to find out what is wrong with him. I was all over the place/seeking information. Now being 46 still lost BUT understanding myself better.
It's been 3 years since I quit smoking and it's FUNNY because I quit to quit. Had a PFT to see where I was health wise (Big Mistake). Today, I have more phlegm and problems than I did smoking. This all started because I decided to get that PFT when I quit.
Just had my 4th PFT.... FEV1 has stayed consistent at 74%. PVC has dropped to 79% from 86%. DLCO 90% RV 118. My FEV/FVC is now at 70% which is only because my PVC has dropped-that makes no sense.
My Raw 268% and Gaw 31% Increased and reactive airway.
1.Does anyone know how to get the RAW and GAW in a better position?
2. I don't cough- have no cough. Does anyone just have phlegm all day like me? I spit up/clear throat about a cup a day- my ENT said I have a pool of thick mucus sitting at the bottom of my throat causing inflammation in the front of the throat and it's not from my nose.
3. Did any of you have these problems in your early 40's?
New Year= New Problems to solve.
