I recently got to the point where My Inogen G3 was just no longer getting the job done even on setting 5. Even walking in the house I went from 95 to 87 in 2.5 minutes.
I have determined it takes 4 liters of continuous o2 to walk for a full 6 minutes or do light exercise.
Pulmonologist said to figure out what I could live with and he’d write the prescription.
In the end I decided the only thing I could do was go back to tanks which really feels like some kind of punishment after having the G3.
To compromise I ordered two M6 tanks and one D tank since the M6 tanks are pretty easy to carry around.
To make the tanks last a reasonable amount of time I opted for a Bonsai Velocity conserver. I thought a tank conserver delivered more O2 than a POC.
I was wrong. The Bonsai provides even less oxygen than the G3.
Now I’ve basically made myself housebound. Unless I carry the D tank around on continuous 4. Which doesn’t last long at all.
Finally the question HELP! Are there any oxygen conserver that deliver the equivalent of 5 ltrs per minute?
Are there just some people who can’t use pulse?
Thanks for any help you can give m
