I was diagnosed with COPD in 2013. I wasn't feeling all that bad for the longest time. I've had a number of episodes with PE's and DVTs. I thought I got Covid when it first was circulating in December of 2019. Since then, I have not been right since then. I'm out of breathe more. Yes, I could lose the weight that covid isolation brought on but there's more going on here.
So I'm being more proactive in my health and knowledge. I have a new PCP next month as the one before was state funded and not familiar with both Factor V and COPD related issues. I just signed up for a trial to get injections every two weeks. I get bi-monthly spirometer tests.
I feel so weak and out of breath but my test results are the following. Can someone explain them to me. My FEV is 64.8%4 My FVC is 73.22% but my total is 88.06%. My Trial Dr. is saying my 88.06% is very good. He says that I do have COPD. I've looked at the Gold Charts and see what he says but I just don't understand if I"m that good why I'm feeling so bad.
Is anyone else in this situation?
