A couple of questions please for anyone with more than a passing knowledge of bronchiectasis.
Setting aside the fact that no matter how hard I try, I still can't pronounce the word convincingly, I'm also unclear as to the primary characteristics of this condition.
I have been diagnosed with emphysema. Is it possible to have bronchiectais as a comorbidity? I'm blessed with fatigue, repeated chest infections, shortness of breath, had Covid pneumonia recently and conk out by 8.00pm every night. The anti-biotics I'm prescribed seem to have little or no affect.
However I don't produce ...' cup fulls of phlegm' each day, or generally cough too much. Am I just getting worse as my wife keeps not telling me (we're both big on denial, but after 40 years together...), or is it the long word?
