My son gave me a lovely clean burning scented beeswax candle for Christmas. I assumed it wasn't the best idea but didnt really expect any repercussions but just in case i only burned it for an hour on the far side of the room. Next morning i was having a terrible time breathing. It's frightening and unfortunate because i had quit smoking for two weeks prior and started walking 2-4 miles a day. I was feeling so much better and now this unfortunate set back. I am assuming it was the candle? Is this set back temporary? Is there something i can do to improve? I am not currently on an inhaler as when i was smoking i did not want to aid my breathing as it was helpful to encourage me to quit or at least cut way back. I will schedule a doctor appointment but in the interium any advice? This is just a flare up but will settle down? It was a foolish thing to burn the candle but i never expected this.
