After having covid I developed anxiety and started getting short of breath feeling which is why I was sent for the test. I had 5 birds (which I rehomed a couple weeks before the test) which my doctor thought I maybe allergic to as I would wheeze and cough when near them. Anyway I went for my pft Feb.14. That morning I had an awful panic attack I had to take an adivan which didn't even help. When I got to the clinic my heartrate was 125 they couldn't get it down so when the gave me albuterol they only gave me 200mcg normally they give 400mcg, but due to my heartrate being so high they didn't. Also, they didn't wait after giving it to me to proceed with the test (which I've since read they should wait 10-15 mins). My FEV1 did go up 6% if I'm reading the test right. So, could this be ashma? My doctor didn't go through the test with me he just said "it's mild" we'll treat it like ashma. Can someone help break this test down for me, please. Also, can anxiety/high heartrate affect the test?
