Hello all! I'm new here and have found lots of useful information. I have a few questions and wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. I've been trying to find something that works to control my daily asthma symptoms. I'd say they are mild but persistent on a daily basis, and if I do anything that irritates them they get aggravated pretty quickly (no dusting or vac for me!) Here's my problem. I've had a really hard time finding something that works without nasty side effects. Montelukast was the best breathing I'd ever experienced, but it made my guts feel like someone had filled them with broken glass and twisted, for days, on 1 very small dose. Symbicort also helps with my lungs, makes them nice and clear. But after a week of taking it I am throwing up everything I eat. (It's not a bug, it started a month ago with the symbicort and steadily worse.)
I went to my asthma doctor and they asked me what I wanted to do! I don't know, that's why I bother going to the doctor. Anyways, it's not a great place to be at this moment in time. I'm back on Breo 100 but it doesn't really keep my lungs clear. I've tried Qvar, Breo, Annuity, Symbicort, and Singulair. And all either had problematic side effects or didn't work. Anybody have similar problems? Anybody find anything that worked for them when you seem to be sensitive to side effect problems?
Honestly, with Covid19 going around it makes me nervous. I've been trying for over a year to get this under control.
