I’m pretty confused maybe you can help me understand I see on many reputable medical sites that age related decline is around 1 to 2 percent a year but then at the same time I’m hearing people even on this site saying that their FEV1 hasn’t moved in years and years with diet and exercise and of course not smoking So which is it ? And just to throw this in here. It seems like people stall in regards to declining lung function in stage 3 or 4. Which makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would you stay more stable when you have way more disease lung tissue. Greater inflammation and reduced exercise capabilities as a result ? Please help me with both of these questions.
