My daughter and I met with my pulmo today for the results of my biopsy last week.
It is cancer.
it is very early - stage 1
and because of the condition - bad - of my lung, recommended focused radiation treatment.
As some of you suggested earlier, catching this early offers a much better chance of curing it completely.
He did say that there only appears to be 1 small spot on my lung. He also did a follow up x-ray, confirming the air pocket has resolved.
What I found interesting, he said today and on our last visit that he told us he presented my case to a group of 50 other Dr's, who then confirmed his diagnosis, and proposed treatment plan.,
Is it common that Dr's use such groups?
