Hello everyone,
I'm a male, 26 years old and nonsmoker. 6 months ago I had a spirometry test and my results were : FEV1 65% predicted and FEV1/FVC=63 %. After the spyro test I inhaled a bronchodilator to test the reversibility. The spyrometry result after bronchodilator reversibility testing were FEV1 68% predicted and FEV1/FVC=64.4%. So the asthma medicine didn't reverse my lungs. So i was diagnosed with COPD stage 2 (Moderate). The doctor gave me Incruse umeclidinium bromide and air flusal. Both inhale medicine. I take the cure for three months and i return to take the spirometry test again. The doctor was surprised about the results. The FEV1 105 % predicted and the FEV1/FVC=81.5%. He told me that these are great results. The asthma medicine bronchodilator didn't affect me again. But i had a very high Ige test, which indicate i have allergy. He said me is no copd and no asthma. Maybe is something related to the allergy but didn't clear very well to me. Anyway he gave me medicines for 6 months for allergy ,air flusal and didn't excluded Incruse medicine . During these time i didn't have problems, . But the last months(i think because of the polens) i had a lot of runny nose, sneezing and cough in the morning(white clear or green sputum). I did a spirometry test again( not a doctor consulting) and the results were pretty amazing (the same as the last one).
Sometimes I overthink a lot about copd, and decreases my mood. I come to a moment when i really don't know, is COPD, Allergy Asthma, or allergy that indicate post nasal drip syndrome which indicate cough. I know that to have Allergy doesn't mean that you don't have COPD but my latest spirometri result doesn't show COPD results.
I'm 26 years old and i'm afraid for my future, I don't know if I will catch my 45 years old.
Thank you for this possibility.
I really appreciate if someone help me and I wish the very best for all COPD pacient.
Love,
Krist
