Hi Friends,
I hope you are all hanging in there and finding ways to keep busy. In my house I am starting to think that my six year old is handling all of this better than I am! We have a few updates for you today that you hopefully got by email (if not check your spam folder and make sure to mark as "not spam").
Many of you expressed interest in hearing more about how to care for your emotional well-being during this time of uncertainty and social distancing. While we were only able to spend a few minutes on this topic during the webinar last week, we have an opportunity for you to hear from Dr. Michelle Eakin, a clinical psychologist at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Eakin will be joining us on Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 3:00-4:00 pm EDT to address the topic of maintaining your emotional health during this stressful time.
Please register for the webinar at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8176172279551321613. We encourage you to register even if you cannot attend. In the event we reach maximum capacity, or you are unable to attend, you will receive a link to the recording. We hope you will make plans to join us!
Also, thank you for your wonderful response to last week's webinar. Many of you submitted questions for our team of medical experts and we have posted those answers on our Coronavirus information page under Learn More. We will be adding a recorded Q and A session with Dr. Byron Thomashow and Dr. Barbara Yawn answering the most frequent questions we received too. Please continue to share your questions with us and we will do our best to get you answers in a timely fashion! We are working on additional webinars in the coming weeks expanding on some of your questions and important issues like how to stay active and exercise at home but if there is something you want to see that would help your family and you get through this uncertain time, please speak up!
Thanks everyone and stay well!
