Hi
Sorry, I don’t know if I’m using the site or post in correct area.
My father passed away suddenly last week. He was diagnosed with stage 4 copd last year after a hospital stay. They never said end life copd but that if he went on the bipap and gave up smoking, he could expect to manage the symptoms well and oxygen stage was a long way off and last resort. He was put on a bipap machine. Still continued to get infections and had bad coughing fits and breathlessness.
We found my poor dad sitting up, arms bent and hands in fists clenched. I just can’t stop thinking of him alone and wondering if her suffered. We are waiting on the results of the post-mortem but that could take 6 months.
Appreciate any medical insight into his last
Moments or what happened with his horrible disease.
Thanks 😢
