Hi everyone again. I hope I don’t ask too many questions. I just am so thankful for this invaluable site. I read a lot of posts on a Reddit site as well as a few COPD Facebook pages, and sometimes people ask about their parent or someone they know who is in end-stage COPD. What is described is often very gruesome and, quite honestly, terrifying. I know this is a morbid question, but what can we expect (on average) with death having COPD? Is it possible to die of something else and not COPD? Somehow, I always just thought that people who die a gruesome, grisly death of COPD are the ones who continued smoking and generally living an unhealthy lifestyle.
