Hi all-
My 85-year-old mom has severe COPD and severe congestive heart failure. She has made the decision to enter hospice care at home—she is not interested in cardiology interventions. She would like to continue seeing her pulmonologist in hospice, but now we are confused whether we can do that. Her COPD is obviously not curable at this point, but her pulmonologist has been very caring and helpful as we attempt to manage this disease. Thank you in advance for any ideas. We really need the support care of hospice, but we also don’t want to lose this pulmonologist if at all possible.
