So I will recap and let you know my situation. I was in a work related accident a 5 weeks ago. I
was doing maintenance inside a holding tank wearing an air supplied
hood and suffered severe
heat exhaustion (Temp. inside the tank was over 100 degrees). Couldn't catch my breath for about an hour after coming
out. Had chest pain/tightness over a week. Went to see a cardiologist and he said I have a healthy heart. I just got back from the pulmo doctor for the second time (did CT scan first visit and PFT the second) and he said everything looked good but when I looked at the written report it said MILD- Intermittent Reactive Airway Disease without complication. I am not sure what that is but he never mentioned that when he talked with me. I asked about COPD and he said he saw no signs of that. On my first visit (3 weeks ago) he prescribed an inhaler and told me to take 1 puff 2 times a day. Now he said only take it as needed. BREZTRI AEROSHERE is the inhaler.
Never had any medical issues in my 52 years of life. Trained and ate healthy for over 30 years. I have smoked on and off socially during portions of my life. Haven't smoked for years now. BUT! I have been an industrial painter over 15 years and I am around some very serious chemicals daily. Even though I follow Strict safety measures I'm still exposed often.I am very glad I found this group and thank you in advance for any help.
