I was in the hospital recently with a virus that ended-up being bronchitis. Two chest x-rays were done and one said lungs appear hyperinflated and suspect copd/emphysema. The second x-ray said heart normal, lungs clear, midiastinum normal, no acute illness.
I was a former smoker not a 24/7 smoker but I did smoke. I'm freaking out because I've had no symptoms no frequent cough, mucus, etc. Since I've come home from the hospital I can't seem to get my energy back. I don't have shortness of breath but I do tire.
Why would one radiologist says one thing and the other something else? The first was done on 4/5/19 and the second on 4/6/19. The second one is the one that said no acute illness. Why wouldn't he have said something about the first one??
