Hello Friends!!
This week is just flying by for me! I’m not sure why, because I have been sticking to my same routine, but for some reason, the time is zipping by. I hope your week is going well and that you are finding ways to stay physically and mentally active.
I have noticed in the last couple of weeks that there are a lot of my friends posting on Facebook and Instagram about their high school senior not being able to have a graduation ceremony or any of those memorable end-of-the-year activities they had been looking forward to. I can imagine how devastated my older children would have been if they had not been able to participate in those things. Well, my daughters would have been, anyway. The boys probably would have only cared about their baseball season being disrupted.
That made me wonder how many of you have children or grandchildren who are affected in this way? I know there are probably several of you. I thought it might be nice, and kind of fun for us to do something here to recognize graduating seniors.
If you have a child/grandchild who is graduating this year, you are welcome to post a picture of them or tell us about them here. Or, if you don’t have a graduating senior, you are welcome to post a photo of yourself from your senior year. Since you guys already know I have no shame, here is my senior photo from my high school yearbook in 1990. I would love to see your senior photo, too!
Check in with us and let us know how you are doing! I always love to hear from you!
