Hello friends!
I hope you are doing well! My family and I are doing well. We are finally beginning to feel settled in our new home – unpacking more boxes each day. We got out of the house over the weekend just to drive around and locate different places like the bank, post office, and pet store and I was able to find my way around town without the trusty GPS. Since I have a fairly awful sense of direction, this was something to celebrate!
There are so many things to celebrate. So many things to be thankful and grateful for. Even in the middle of this quarantine, there is happiness to be found.
A couple of weeks ago @Bill66 posted some pictures of kindness rocks that someone had painted and placed in various locations in his neighborhood. One day, he sent me a picture of a kindness rock and said, “Wouldn’t it be awesome to have people make some COPD kindness rocks?” Well, guess what? I do think that would be awesome! So, I would like to ask you all to create a COPD or COPD Foundation kindness rock. If you make one, take a picture of it and post it here! I know you guys can be creative and will have some really awesome works of art!
Here are two that I did. I am not an artist, but this was a lot of fun! I may try to find a place to put these in our neighborhood, or I might just leave them in my own garden. Either way, they will bring a little happiness to those who spot them and sharing happiness sure is something we can all use right now.
Let me know how you are doing. I would love to hear from you! We are going to get through this together, one day at a time. And remember… kindness rocks!
