I'm 66 yr old - I started smoking when I was 10.
For the vast majority of that time I smoked 2-3pks/day.
About Jul 2019 my Dr. prescribed Chantix. Insurance denied it saying I had try "other methods" FIRST.
By late Oct I had satisfied those "other methods" and won my script for Chantix.
I was about six weeks into the Chantix regimen thinking, "this too, is pretty useless".
My last cigarette was 2 Dec 2019.
I woke up 3 Dec without wanting one - usually the first thing I did at sitting up in bed.
I've heard other 'not so positive' stories about Chantix - but that was mine.
