Hi :) I’m new to the group. I’m a 39 year old female, never smoked but my parents both smoked in the home growing up. My health was perferecrly fine prior to Covid 3 years ago. I’m not vaccinated which I regret, and I’ve had Covid 3 times. The last time I had it, 6 months after recovering I began to experience SOB. They did chest xray and said everything was fine. About 5 months later I had really bad SOB and went to the ER. Then developed a cough that wouldn’t go away. They did a chest xray again and it showed “emphysematous changes” so then I had a CT that was completely clean. Said no emphysema. But I still have trouble breathing (O2 sat normal and my pulmonary function test was borderline low. I’m not sure what any of these results mean. Could it be COPD? Doctor says long covid but I have several symptoms pointing to COPD. I eat super healthy and workout everyday so this is hard for me to wrap my head around but I’m afraid covid may have caused the damage. Any advice appreciated! Thanks
