I was diagnosed with moderate COPD in 2016. I had the spirometry test twice. The 2nd test about a year after the first one had an FEV1 of 91. In all these years I have had not one problem breathing or getting sick. I have never had to use any medications of emergency inhaler. I'm now 74. I have trouble walking due to a back problem and am very overweight because of this so sometimes I get a little out of breath because of the weight and not being able to walk very far. What is going on? Shouldn't I have some problems. I stopped smoking when I was diagnosed. Hardest thing to do but do not miss it.
