We seem to be shining the spotligh on opioid addiction and fatalities. Putting more money into it. 33,00 people died of opioid overdose in the US in 2015
But COPD affects 30 million Americans and our community stretches across all 50 states.
I'm just saying, where is the "War on lung disease"? No cure yet? Newer diseases have cures.
Just sounding off -- doesn't seem that we get enough attention and not enough research, not enough breakthroughs, expensive drugs, and the same treatments as a decade ago, more of less. Can't think of one breakthrough since i was diagnosed in 2010. It's all the same.
