Over the last several weeks, it has become more difficult for me to breath, primarily when I am exercising or walking up hills. Over the last week, it has begun to hurt when I breathe. Primarily after I've exercised or been on a long walk or get stressed and start breathing hard. It feels like my trachea and lungs are inflamed and I'm trying to figure out whether or not I have a major concern or whether this is common. I do exercise quite a bit. Everyday for about 90 minutes, including 35 to 40 minutes on the treadmill and another 40 minutes of weight and other various exercises. I'm wondering whether or not I've just have over done it, and it is a result to too much stress on my lungs (I have bronchiectasis) or it's a symptom of a larger concern.
I saw my Pulmonary doctor about 3 weeks ago, before this started to happen, and he said everything was looking pretty good. My pulse oximeter readings have been around 94 to 95 when exercising and 98 to 99 when at rest.
Was wondering if anyone had any similar occurrences. I'm still feeling my way through this disease and trying to figure out when to raise an alarm with my doctor or when it's just part of the disease.
