Hey everyone,
I have just been diagnosed with mild copd. I am a 39 M who smoked cannabis the last 20 years. Obviously freaking out a little bit but also trying to feel fortunate Ive found out while it is still mild.
I see lots of posts about medicines and inhalers and stuff like that. But im wondering if there's anything that I should be doing in the mild stage?
I have not smoked since the diagnosis and I am a very active person. Haven't yet felt any symptoms. The only shortness of breath I've felt was in the days after the diagnosis and I tried taking my partners anxiety medicine and that cleared all that up.
I see most advice is don't smoke and live a healthy life. I think im doing that now but just curious if anyone has any ideas? or tips for a newly diagnosed person?
Thanks
Colin
