My husband was recently prescribed with Anoro after being taking off of budesonide and albuterol via a nebulizer. My question is, how long can my husband expect to wait until he sees some sort of results, i.e. better breathing. His doctor told him that it could take months to see any results. I can see results in a treatment taking a week, maybe, but months. Has anyone heard this or experienced that length of time for results? He will also be starting oxygen at night. He has a very hard time walking without getting short of breath. He wasn't prescribed a rescue inhaler, but even if he was I don't understand when he would use it. He walks and gets out of breath. Would he take a rescue inhaler every 25 feet? I do see where many of the drugs, Anoro, etc., also have a rescue inhaler prescribed along with. Sorry, if this was a little fragmented, but just trying to get some answers because it is confusing. Thank you.
