Hello everyone! Just joined the group. Here is my story: since the last weekend in July, I have been battling breathing problems. It happened overnight-literally woke up and felt very congested.

Per a covid antibody test, we think this might be the culprit, but cannot be absolutely certain. What we do know is the numbers on my PFT:

FVC: 47%

FEV1: 53%

FEV1/FVC: 95.23%

TLC: 4.77L or 84%

RV: 2.73L or 168%

RV/TLC: 57.31 for actual

I'm seeing a pulmonologist in less than three weeks. This has been the toughest 8 months of my life. The week before this happened, I rode 15 miles on my mountain bike. Now I can barely ride around my neighborhood.

I have chest tightness and it feels like I am breathing through a straw 24/7. No cough, mucus or wheezing. I can't even talk without feeling winded. I'm on oxygen at night. I have tried 4 different inhalers. No luck. What do you think is going on? Thank you for your time everyone!!
